Mount Lavinia

Mount Lavinia is the largest suburb of the capital Colombo, in the Western Province of  Sri Lanka. It is a residential suburb of mostly middle class people. The beach is famously known as the ‘Golden Mile’ with classy restaurants catering for beach revellors.  ‘Mount Lavinia Hotel’, One of the oldest and most famous hotels in the country is also situated here. It is also the location of Sri Lanka’s most sort after primary and secondary schools named St.Thomas College, which have produced many scholars.
