Negombo

Negombo is a major city in Sri Lanka, located in Western Province, Sri Lanka. The Bandaranayake International Airport is located close to this city. The city is known for its great and olden trawling industry with busy fish markets, sandy beaches, hotels and restaurants. Due to bounty of seafood, the town restaurants are  a gourmet’s delight. There are also local handicrafts, batiks and jewellery boutiques on the beaches and shops in the city. Fishing and tourism is the main economy of this city.
