Pasikudah

Pasikudah is a coastal resort town located in the  Batticaloa District, This area was battered by the Tsunami and North East war but now open to public after a decade. The unspoilt coastline with golden sands and clear blue waters form the beautiful  Pasikudah. It is considered one of the prettiest beaches in the world. It has one of the longest stretches of shallow coastline in the world. Due to weak current and water being only few inches deep, people could walk kilometers into the sea. Sunrise is breathtaking and glass bottom boat rides are available upto the coral reef.
