Dolphin watching tours are done early mornings. Spinner Dolphins are the most common with Bottlenose, Risso and Indo-Pacific. Humpback Dolphins are seeing regularly.

From November to end of March, when the wind calms down, Kalpitiya becomes a different place. The sea is calm, the dolphins and whales start to emerge to your amazement to view the magnificent creation of the ocean life.
