NKAR to boost MICE tourism in Sri Lanka with top Indian corporates

NKAR Travels & Tours Ltd. last week partnered a signature MICE Tourism initiative for Sri Lanka in collaboration with its Indian counterpart at Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel Colombo.

The event was held under the patronage of Sri Lanka Conventions Bureau Chairman Prema Cooray who expressed his delight in NKAR taking such an initiative. Moreover, NKAR Travels Chief Operating Officer Dr. Damian Fernando was present at the event.

Addressing the top Indian corporates Dr. Damian Fernando expressed that the event was a great milestone for the country in gaining much important recognition as one of the key MICE destinations in the world.

Partnered by Amari Hotels, Jet Airways and Cinnamon Lakeside this initiative was graced by high-end Indian corporates. With this prominent initiative – expected to be a landmark of Sri Lankan MICE Tourism – the 37-year-old Sri Lankan Tourism specialist expects to enhance the image of the country while augmenting the overall value of Sri Lanka Tourism.
