Inginiyagala

Inginiyagala is located in the Uva province of Sri Lanka. The Gal Oya reservoir is situated here and is considered to be one of  the biggest and majestic reservoirs in the island. The hydroelectric power station is located below the reservoir. The Senanayake Samuda is also found in this area. Camping sites are available in the vicinity of this lake where the view is breathtaking.  The Ganegama Vihara which is a significant ancient religious site is situated here. Hiking to the top of Inginiyagala Mountain is also adventurous and exciting. It’s a treat for adventure lovers.
