Kaudulla Park

Kadulla Park is situated in the north central province of Sri Lanka close to ancient city of Polonnaruwa.It is a national park of Sri Lanka opened  13 years back and also  one of the 15 national parks in the country.  After a period of desertion it was reconstructed as a national park, which eventually attracted and supported a variety of plant and animal life.  Elephants roam the country side on some days and chances of seeing elephants close up are extremely good.
