Namal Uyana

Namal Uyana is located in the Kurunegala District. It is an ironwood forest and pink quartz mountain in Sri Lanka, considered to be the largest in Asia. It is a rare forest overshadowed by iron wood trees. There are three waterfalls originating from the quartz mountains which flow all over the Namal Uyana. This water is enriched with minerals and contains medicinal values. People of the area and far away believe that drinking this water will cure their sicknesses and give them physical fulfillment along with spiritual peace of mind from the natural background of this paradise
