Tangalle

Tangalle is situated in the Southern province of Sri Lanka. It is an important fishing port in the district  Natural treasures of this city are the bay fringed with palms and scenic coves. Some of the beaches have white sand and  ideal for swimming, diving and snorkeling. Most beaches are quiet and relaxing as it is not crowded in comparison to other southern beaches. The famous Mulkirigala rock temple is also found here. There are few natural caves in the vicinity of the temple which has various wall murals and buddhist statues.
